Free printable road trip bingo (ages 4–10)
Updated September 27, 2026 · Ages 4–10 · One page
Road trip bingo is the car game that works before kids can even read: instead of numbers, the card shows pictures of things you actually see from the window — a red car, a stop sign, a cow, a motorcycle — and kids mark each one off as they spot it. First to a row wins. It is the rare backseat game that needs no pieces, no setup, and no screens, and the free printable card below is one page you can print tonight.

No account, no payment, and the same signup also unlocks our free 10-page Travel Sampler with nine more activities for plane rides and restaurant waits. It is the same first card from our Screen-Free Travel Pack, so it is also the easiest way to see whether our printables are a fit for your kids before spending anything.

How to play in the car
- Give every player a card and a pencil, crayon, or sticker sheet.
- Scan the road. When a player sees a picture from the card — out a window, on a billboard, in a parking lot — they mark that square and call it out.
- First player to finish a full row (across, down, or diagonal) shouts “Bingo!” and wins the round.
- Reshuffle the fun: play again for blackout (the whole card) on long stretches.
Two rules that keep the peace: an item only counts the first time it is spotted (no racking up every gray car you pass), and both sides of the road are fair game.
Print tips that make it last
- Print one card per kid, plus spares. A crumpled card should never end the game.
- Cardstock or a clipboard beats a loose sheet bouncing on a seatbelt.
- For siblings: cut each card into strips so younger kids only track three or four pictures, or let the youngest player start with two squares pre-marked.
- Reuse trick: slide the page into a plastic sleeve and use dry-erase markers — wipe clean for the return trip.
Variations to stretch a long drive
- First to five / blackout — two rounds from one card.
- Silent bingo — for the last leg before the meltdown hour, no calling out; everyone marks quietly and shows their card at rest stops.
- Driver’s choice — the driver (or navigator) picks a secret bonus square worth double.
If bingo buys you twenty minutes
One card is a great opening move, but a full day of driving eats through a single page. The Screen-Free Travel Pack ($4.99, 40 pages) and Mega Vacation Bundle ($7.99, 70 pages) are printable packs of bingo, I Spy, license plate games, mazes, travel journals and more — print them the night before, reprint for every sibling and every trip.
